| Question - What is SAVVA? Answer: The South African Veteran and Vintage Association is the National controlling body for motorsport activities in respect of vehicles - motorcars, commercials and motorcycles built before December 31 1980 in Southern Africa. It is an association of some 33 affiliated clubs throughout South Africa. |
| Question - How do I Join? ANSWER: As SAVVA is an association of clubs, persons who have an interest in the preservation, restoration and use of older vehicles may join a club in their area. Individual membership is not available. Consult the list of clubs elsewhere herein. |
| Question - When does my car become Vintage? ANSWER: Only vehicles built before December 31, 1930 are classified as Vintage. Post Vintage are vehicles built between January 1931 and December 31, 1945. Consult the Dating pages |
